DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Create stunning 2D UI art from wireframe concept to implementation in the end product.
  • Establish art styles and maintain consistency of new and current IP's
  • Using Unity, help Implement game interfaces and menus (UX)
  • Active involvement in the game creation process by interacting with the Art and Design teams.
  • Effectively contributing to th e art pipeline and project costings while understanding target platform constraints.
  • Meeting project deadlines/milestones.

Required Experience

  • A solid portfolio, demonstrating an ability to create a variety of ideas. Imagination is crucial.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience as a 2D/UI game artist.
  • Unity experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of 2D editing tools, like Adobe XD or Illustrator, to be able to deliver any kind of quality 2D assets.
  • Good skills using Photoshop (or similar tool)
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills, team spirit, proactivity.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to receive and provide objective feedback
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.

Desirable Experience

  • Animation skills (2D mostly, 3D a real bonus).
  • Experience with 3D tools, modelling and texturing in both Low and High poly.
  • Thorough understanding of Digital/Traditional and Graphic art/design techniques.
  • Knowledge of animation, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Unity engine, particle effects creation programs (e.g. combustion, particle illusion, Popcorn)
  • BA in art media, graphic design or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Passion for games and some knowledge of the gaming industry.
