UI Gameplay Programmer (M/F)

Job Description

Ubisoft Bordeaux studio is looking for an UI Gameplay Programmer to join the production team for a new, unannounced AAA game.

• Design and implement UI components in C++.
• Improve and extend the existing game User Interface.
• Break down the tasks into parts that can be implemented and tested, and identify missing details in feature requests.
• Propose and carry the best practices to improve user experience.
• Work closely with artists and game designers to ensure UI is done within the desired quality.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of C++ programming experience in the video game industry.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently with large, existing code bases.
• Solid understanding of UX/UI design principles.
• Good English level (spoken and written).
• Passion for making and playing games.
