We’re looking for exceptional UI developers with a passion for technology and the ability to work with a diverse team. The UI Developer position will play a key role in helping build and maintain Zynga web properties and internal web-based applications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, debug & maintain Zynga customer-facing web sites and internal web applications
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement designs
- Identify potential scalability, security, and design limitations and make recommendations
- Build and maintain components for internal applications
- Work with backend engineers to deliver functional applications
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of hands-on web development experience
- Degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering) or equivalent experience
- Significant programming experience in JavaScript and one or more frameworks such as React JS (preferred) or Angular JS
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as Bootstrap
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to follow common software engineering best practices, such as SCM, code reviews, and automated testing.
- Experience with mobile development for iOS and Android (particularly using React Native)
- CMS experience (WordPress, etc )
- Localization experience
- Knowledge of the mobile landscape and emerging technologies
- Experience with LESS/SASS
- Passion for games and gaming a plus!
