UI Artist

Uken is looking for a talented UI Artist who is keen on applying their skills towards working on an exciting new mobile game title. We're looking for someone who loves games and is up to date on the mobile game and tech industries. This position will be working directly with developers and designers to build interfaces for cross-platform and cross-device games.
You'll be working on meaningful things like:
- Creating 2D Art Assets
- Taking ownership of the art in our games, from ideation to implementation
- Collaborating closely with game designers and programmers
- Working on a variety of platforms - iOS, and Android
Your background should include:
- Experience creating game UI, concept art and final rendering
- Graduate from a design program (graphic, multimedia) or equivalent experience
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite and Unity development platform
- Solid understanding of graphic design fundamentals and principles
- Ability to create front-end user interface, in game HUD, and additional in-game art
- Understanding of wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and familiarity with UI research
- A portfolio that demonstrates a range of high quality UI screens
It's a big plus if you...
- Possess illustration skills
- Are a regular gamer with experience in a range of casual games
- Have a strong animation background
