UI Artist [Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege]

Job Description

The UI Artist will be part of a multidisciplinary features team working closely with other disciplines (Production, Game Design, User Experience, User Interface, Technical Art, Programming, QA) to bring to life the team’s vision. They are responsible for creating interface solutions in collaboration with Game Designers, UX Designers and technical stakeholders. They provide high quality visuals in line with the Art Direction of the game. They ensure the end-result in the final game is in line with the initial vision.

What you will do:

• Create visuals through prototyping, wireframes, mock-ups and animations.
• Deliver high quality UI Art in line with the vision of the game.
• Export and implement the UI solutions in Engine.
• Communicate ideas & concepts with international teams and stakeholders both locally and internationally.
• Create convincing UI animations to drive player’s attention and offer guidance.

Qualifications

What you bring:

• Work experience of at least 2 years in the Video Game industry.
• Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent software.
• Profound knowledge of UI implementation processes in video game projects.
• Familiar with industry game engines and prototyping workflows.
• Practical experience with data management software (Perforce).
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Proficient in creating ideas and prototyping.
• Profound graphic design skills as well as usability (design, layout, typography).
• Good sense for motion design.
• Think critically and conceptually.
• Be forward thinking and anticipate the needs of your project.
• Be self-motivated, organized, and autonomous.

Nice to have

• Strong compositing skills and video editing skills are a plus (After effects, Premiere).
• Knowledge or experience with technical art.
• Interest for games.
