Job Description

Are you interested in becoming a UI Artist in the games industry? Do you want to help create amazing user experiences and user interface art within EA and DICE? We are looking for an intern to join our team of artists and developers where you can learn and contribute to the process of making Menus and HUD for AAA games like Battlefield.

Reporting to the UI Art Director, you will be part of the team that builds UI for millions of players in our live service and learn the entire pipeline from concept to release. We are pushing the boundaries of the User Interface experience and are not afraid to try new revolutionary things that we believe will set the standard in game development for years to come!

Responsibilities:

• Daily tasks will involve working within UI/UX team whilst collaborating with Code and Design to maintain implementation, concepts and documentation.
• Design parts of the user interface, contribute ideas and solutions and work with developers all while being guided by our experienced team
• Be collaborative in your approach and the ability to work and communicate with important developers from all disciplines throughout our development process
• Be attentive, curious and proactive in your daily interactions

Qualifications:

• You must be associated with a university education or other type of education that has an internship period planned into the education, for example, LiA.
• You must be residing in Sweden as we are not able to provide relocation or visa assistance.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledgeable of Graphic Design, Typography, Motion Graphics and Iconography
• Love for Games, especially Online First Person Shooters
• Understanding of UI design
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma or any industry standard UI implementation tools
