UI Artist / Graphic Designer

With our two top grossing titles, Design Home and Covet Fashion, Crowdstar has developed new ways for players to enjoy interior design and fashion. Not only are we changing how women game, we’re also changing how they discover and shop for everything from furniture to home decor, and from clothing to shoes. As a team, we are passionate not only about creating fun and engaging games for women, but enriching lives outside of the game.

Our Design Home team is looking for a seasoned 2D Graphic Designer with UI and UX experience to create art assets for the live game. As well as user interface elements, icons, logos, marketing art, and presentations.

All candidates must deliver a full resume with samples (online portfolio) to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the design team, crafting imagery in the style of this unique home decor app, while conforming to technical guidelines and the established style guide.
• Create logos and illustrations for in-game events.
• Design and improve dynamic interface elements including icons, and menus.
• Edit and polish stock photographs.
• Artfully construct presentation decks.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of graphic design and layout experience.
• Deep understanding of popular trends in graphic design and development, font treatment, photo manipulation, as well as mobile app interface design theory and usability.
• Able to pitch designs to the team and respond well to constructive criticism and feedback.
• Proficiency with standard industry tools, including: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, Powerpoint, Keynote. Some knowledge of Unity is a plus. In addition, have a high capacity to learn new tools and emerging technologies.
• Passion for the mobile app industry and an understanding of market trends and styles.
• Interest and knowledge in interior design trends and an affinity for home decor.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Demonstrated abilities:

• Thrive in a fast-paced team environment, incorporating feedback into revisions throughout the creative process.
• Display professionalism and the ability to function well within a team, communicating effectively within a large group, in a multi-project creative environment.
• Personally manage time under deadlines, consistently meeting project deadlines and milestones set by project leads and Creative Director. As well as provide daily updates to the design team.
• Passion or affinity for video games and mobile games.
