UA Creative Project Manager

We're hiring a self-motivated Project Manager with experience managing in-house creative teams, as well as external agencies and freelancers. The successful candidate will work directly with Kabam partners to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He/she will consult with other stakeholders to ensure all expectations of each project are achievable, and outline areas of risk. Project managers are the glue that helps keep projects — and people — together. They are responsible for planning, organizing, managing and executing projects from beginning to end. In this role, he/she will report directly to the Sr. Director of UA Creative, with one Project Coordinator as direct report.

In this role, you can expect to:

• Meet with project stakeholders to take develop detailed kickoff briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
• Develop strong partnership with other project managers within the organization, also responsible for creative asset management, including Marcomm, PR and Studio teams.
• Manage project progress by coordinating both internal (company employees) and external (agency representatives and freelancers).
• Create and manage detailed schedules throughout the duration of the project using existing software tools including Trello and Asana.
• Develop skillset of Project Coordinator
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with internal marketing teams as well as other UA Creative staff members
• Serve as the interface between Brand Managers, Art Director and creative staff, making communication skills especially important.
• Use and continually develop leadership skills

The Project Manager’s skill set includes:

• Expert organizational skills
• Strong ability to multi-task
• Outstanding communication skills
• Knowledge of project management processes, workflow and terminology
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced (sometimes chaotic) environment under tight deadlines
• Must be adept at identifying potential roadblocks related to budgets, resources, and timelines, and reporting these potential issues to their supervisors, when necessary.
• Experienced in working with Asana and Trello programs or other project management software

To be successful in this role, your background includes:

• 3+ years of experience working within a creative development environment either with in-house creative team or as part of an agency creative team.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software and proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat, etc.
• Entertainment/Gaming experience a plus but not limited to
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
