About the Position

Twitch Marketing’s goal is to maturate Twitch Rivals to be one of the most recognized brands in gaming. We are seeking a Twitch Rivals Broadcast Marketing Manager who will be responsible for contributing to the long-term strategic direction & the daily promotional execution of the Twitch Rivals channel & brand. The Twitch Rivals Broadcast Marketing Manager will champion the Twitch Rivals vision & strategy to both internal and external marketing communication teams and publishing partners. Further, the Twitch Rivals Marketing Manager will promotionally execute Go to Market strategies on and off Twitch. By mastering Twitch’s engine of audience insights, communication of simple product benefits to Twitch Creators, Viewers and the global community of gaming fans we will grow Twitch Rivals into one of the most recognized brands in gaming.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Head of Marketing Partnerships & esports on the intake of Twitch Rivals content map & show briefs. Align long term brand goals accordingly
• Write clear and innovative marketing briefs that motivate efforts to advantage upcoming opportunities for marketing communication and creative teams
• Translate Brand Strategies to generate strong individual show tactics that build a brand one execution at a time
• Partner with insights & analytics teams to draw ongoing insights from quantitative and qualitative data
• Understand the goals of our content & publishing partners and generate win-win scenarios within the Twitch Rivals platform
• Outline long term plans to streamline Twitch Rivals promotional processes, increasing communication output
• Create and communicate cross-department timelines for Twitch Rivals initiatives; aligning with production & creative teams to achieve goals and take ownership of timely deliverables
• Proactively identify project risks and elevate to team members and leads
• Collaborate with department leads to create debriefs for completed projects and help improve flow with each effort
• Update management and project-appropriate leads regularly with status reports on open projects

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in marketing management on digital or broadcast platforms
• Experience showing a deep understanding and proven track record for success through marketing fundamentals in broadcast, web, app or interactive software marketing management
• Organizational and prioritization skills come naturally while managing multiple facets of a complex product architecture to focus on business goals
• Soft management skills are critical to manage various, understanding challenges and generating solutions while spurring teams to victory
• Clear understanding & the ability to self-generate the steps necessary to successfully execute a project
• Experience with Microsoft Project or other time/project management programs
• Clear, detailed written and verbal communication skills for internal teams and marketing peers

Bonus Points

• An understanding of Twitch and the relationship between the Creator and Viewer communities
• Experience marketing or production in the esports category
• Proficiency in project management software
