About the Role
Twitch is looking for a Program Manager for our Trust and Safety team to help us educate and communicate our Trust and Safety philosophy, approach, policies and enforcement processes to our community and creators. You will report to the VP of Trust and Safety.
As our Safety Education Program Manager, you will shape how we engage with our creators and community to better understand what Safety means on Twitch. You will identify educational opportunities and strategies to help guide meaningful relationships with our Safety Advisory Council, Partners, Ambassadors, Affiliates and our Community, with the goal of earning trust in Twitch as a safe and inclusive place for diverse, global creators to flourish. You Will:
- Grow an overarching Trust and Safety community education strategy across multiple important partners
- Develop plans for new Trust and Safety program launches
- Work with the Twitch community and increase positive engagement
- Maintain a pulse check on the Twitch community and Trust and Safety sentiment
- Review and promote community guidelines to foster an inclusive safe environment
- Implement your education plan
- Work with adjacent teams, such as Product, Marketing, Brand Safety, Content to craft education strategies
- Collaborate across departments, considering multiple perspectives Engage externally with experts and members of the Twitch community
You Have:
- 5+ years of expertise in product, content, policy communications, operations, with an emphasis on the technology industry
- Experience engaging with external individuals/entities on behalf of Twitch
- Experience working with consumer technology brands that have a global footprint
- Big-picture, high-level vision to connect the dots
- A love of connecting with people and bringing groups together
- Experience building and scaling community programs for an early-stage startup
- Understanding of, or experience communicating with content creators
- Instinct for troubleshooting—especially when things get chaotic
- Comfort switching quickly between a professional managed-by-numbers culture and startup environment
- A creative, and execution-focused mindset
