Tools Programmer

Location: Liverpool

We’re looking for Programmers to join our growing development team and help support the critically acclaimed multi-platform game Apex Legends. In this key role you’ll work on improving the content editing and asset processing tools for Apex Legends, implementing feature requests from the development team at Respawn

Responsibilities

• Implement new features and improve existing ones in the content generation tools fulfilling the needs of the development team at Respawn.
• Help fix bugs in the existing tools.
• Develop new tools to help content generation.
• Analyse existing systems and offer improvements.

Required Experience

• Excellent C++/C#/Python knowledge.
• Excellent problem solving and code optimisation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills to collaborate with development teams.
• A degree in computer science / software development or equivalent.

Desired Experience

• An understanding of Asset pipelines.
• Experience working as a programmer, ideally in the games industry
• Knowledge and experience of 3d editors.
• Experience with scripting languages.
