Elevate the quality of Guerrilla’s proprietary content authoring tools and improve the workflows of our content creators and developers.
WHO WE ARE
Guerrilla’s Tools Team develops and maintains our proprietary Decima Engine’s Editor.
The Decima Editor is used both at Guerrilla and by hundreds of artists and designers externally to develop some of the world’s most extraordinary open world games. It's a comprehensive native desktop application encompassing a 3D and 2D world editor, asset browser, node-based editors, a sequencer timeline, review tools, localization, and sound design pipelines. WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Product Designer (Tools) at Guerrilla, we will look to you to:
- Work closely with artists and designers that use the Decima Editor to gather insights, build effective feedback loops and iterate on product design and development
- Design workflows, interfaces and tools from concept and prototyping to testing, iterating and validation
- Present design ideas and solutions to engineers and artists and collaborate with them to realize deployment and adoption
- Oversee the implementation of the design across teams
- Establish a comprehensive visual identity and a consistent interaction design for the Decima Editor
- Promote a healthy design culture of care and awareness for tools UX within the company
WHO YOU ARE
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Robust, demonstrable experience designing for creative software products (Digital Content Creation/DCC Tools, Software Development Tools, Game Engines)
- Solid foundation in human-centered design and user research principles and methodologies
- An ability to express ideas with clear verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Experience making and presenting user stories, wireframes, mockups, and sketches
