Summary
Reporting to the Enterprise Data Project Lead, the Tools Support Specialist will provide first-line support and access to TG online tools to productions throughout the project cycle and be the point of contact for identifying bugs and problems regarding the data quality in the Marketing domain.
Responsibilities:
The main roles and responsibilities of this job are:
- Define, implement and execute data quality tests to identify potential problems and propose improvements;
- Report new bugs in collaboration with members of the development team;
- Provide special assistance during the certification phases to ensure the proper functioning of solutions and related processes;
- Contribute to bug fixes and validate them;
- Be the point of contact for different environments throughout the product lifecycle;
- Be proactive in system monitoring and detection of data quality issues in production
- Provide support to programmers to help solve problems;
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of key data quality indicators
- Ensure the proper functioning of resources during office hours of the site;
- Work in collaboration with programmers and manage tool productivity issues;
- Identify missing processes or improve existing processes to provide quality service;
- Automate quality control processes
- Participate in the design, development, maintenance, enhancements, deployment and support of various APIs (REST and GraphQL)developed.
- Perform other related duties.
Qualifications
Education
- Collegial Studies, or equivalent experience.
Relevant experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position (troubleshooting, testing).
Skills and knowledge:
- Rigorous and methodical;
- Autonomous and resourceful;
- Know how to manage your priorities;
- Work with multiple interruptions or context changes;
- Have good interpersonal skills and communication skills;
- Good judgment;
- Bilingual (French and English);
- Know how to document bugs (Jira or other);
- Understanding the pipeline and production tools;
- Basic computer skills (Windows, Linux, VM)
- Knowledge of the database, the mastery of the sql language is required (the knowledge of Teradata SQL is a plus).
- Experience in testing and controlling data quality
- Experience in programming (Python, Shell scripts ...)
- Experience in software development (test automation, development and continuous integration) and API
- Have work with methodology and agile tools (Scrum)
- Experience with Tableau Softtware is a plus
