Beenox est un studio de développement de jeux vidéo créé en 2000. Situé dans la belle ville de Québec, au Canada, Beenox est une filiale à part entière d’Activision Publishing Inc., chef de file mondial dans le développement interactif.
Le studio est fier de contribuer au développement des célèbres franchises Call of Duty et Crash Bandicoot. Par le passé, Beenox a également pris part au succès des franchises Skylanders, Spider-Man et Guitar Hero.

Ce qui vous attend dans ce rôle :
En tant que testeur de développement, vous serez appelé à être un allié inestimable pour les autres départements du studio. Vous aurez à développer une maîtrise du contenu de nos jeux et ultimement les connaître comme le fond de votre poche!
Vous aurez à travailler au sein de l’équipe de test et votre rôle consistera à contribuer à ce que l’expérience de jeu soit constamment améliorée. Vous serez en mesure de rapidement aider les autres développeurs à cerner les problématiques.
Vous aurez en autres à :
- Supporter l’équipe de développement dans l’atteinte de ses objectifs en collaborant de près avec ceux-ci pour sonder l’état du jeu ;
- Vérifier divers éléments au sein du jeu, dont le fonctionnement, le contenu des données, la performance, la jouabilité et la compatibilité matérielle/logicielle ;
- Identifier les anomalies à l’intérieur d’un jeu, répertorier celles-ci dans une base de données et en effectuer la régression par la suite ;
- Communiquer les informations de façon claire et structurée avec le reste de l’équipe ;
- Offrir votre soutien et travailler en collaboration avec les concepteurs, artistes, programmeurs et membres d’autres départements.
Vous êtes :
- Diplômé: Vous détenez un diplôme d’études secondaires (exigé) ou mieux encore vous avez un diplôme d’études lié à l’industrie du jeu vidéo (atout);
- Joueur : Vous connaissez plusieurs styles et plateformes de jeux vidéo. Vous êtes fan de First-Person Shooter et vous maîtrisez bien les mécaniques de ce type de jeux (atout);
- Informé : Vous connaissez bien l’industrie du jeu vidéo et vous êtes familier avec le pipeline de production d’un jeu vidéo.
- Expérimenté : Vous possédez une expérience antérieure dans le domaine du jeu vidéo (atout) ;
- Observateur : vous avez un excellent sens de l’observation et vous êtes en mesure d’analyser ce que vous observez;
- Collaboratif : Vous êtes un joueur d’équipe énergique, enthousiaste et très déterminé. Vous aimez travailler en collaboration avec vos coéquipiers et vous vous éclatez dans ce type d’environnement!
- Bilingue : vous possédez d’excellentes aptitudes pour les communications orales et écrites en français et en anglais.
- Technique : Vous maîtrisez un des outils ou compétences suivants (atout) :
- Scripting/programmation;
- Logiciels de créations 3D;
- Engins de jeux;
- Photoshop;
- Game Design/Level Design;
- Sens artistique;
- Système de gestion des anomalies (Jira, Devtrack, etc.).

Here’s awaits you in this job:
As development tester, you will be called upon to be an invaluable ally for the other departments of the studio. You will have to develop a mastery of the content of our games and ultimately know them like the back of your hand!
You will have to work on the test team, and your role will be to contribute to the constant improvement of the gaming experience. You will be able to quickly help the other developers identify problem areas.
Your tasks will include the following:
- Support the development team in reaching its objectives by working closely with team members to check the state of the game
- Verify different elements within the game, including functionality, data content, performance, playability, and hardware/software compatibility
- Identify bugs within a given game, listing them in a database, and then performing the required regression
- Communicate information clearly and in a structured manner to the rest of the team
- Offer support and work collaboratively with designers, artists, programmers, and members of other departments
You are:
- Qualified: You have a high school diploma (requirement), or better you have a diploma related to the video game industry (asset).
- Gamer: You know several styles of video games and video game platforms. You are a fan of First-Person Shooter (FPS) and you have mastered the mechanics of this type of game (asset).
- Informed: You are familiar with the video game industry and the video game production pipeline.
- Experienced: You have previous experience in the video game field (asset).
- Perceptive: You have an excellent sense of observation and you are able to analyze what you observe.
- Team player: You are an energetic, enthusiastic, and very determined team player. You like to collaborate with your teammates on the job and you stand out in this type of context!
- Bilingual: You have excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
- Technical : You have mastered one of the following tools or have acquired one the following skills (asset):
- Scripting/programming
- 3D modeling software
- Game engines
- Photoshop
- Game Design/Level Design
- Artistic sense
- Bug-tracking management system (Jira, Devtrack, etc.)
