Test Automation Engineer (Intern)

We have a rare opportunity for an intern to join our Test Automation Engineering team at Immutable and get hands-on with bespoke methods of automation within the games industry. You’ll have the opportunity to learn the value of test-driven development and the value of automation in a product pipeline.

You’ll also have the opportunity to:

• Monitor test coverage between the Gods Unchained game client by reporting on existing regression technical debt
• Build client integration tests via custom visual scripting (Bolt)
• Raise pull requests for any features and tooling
• Get exposure to BAU meetings - bug triaging, release train meetings and chapter meetings, release pods
• Take part in squad assignments and develop tooling for features
• Develop internal tooling for Test Automation Chapter

Ideally you’ll have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of Python
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, CSS & HTML
• Some experience working with APIs

Some extra skills that would be awesome:

• Experience working with Unity games (in a professional capacity or through personal projects)
• TypeScript, Golang, C#, Java or Golang
• Experience building tooling with Python
• Experience with automated frameworks
