Technical Writer - New IP

Based at our studio in the heart of Sussex in the UK, we have an excellent opportunity for a passionate game developer to join our Console Development team as a Technical Writer working on our new unannounced IP.
In this role, you will be responsible for setting and maintaining the documentation of the project. To do so, you will be driving the effort to create our documentation pipeline, and then work with the team to set up that documentation and maintain it.
Key Responsibilities
This opportunity allows you to develop & champion documentation processes, standards & best practice. You will write and maintain responsive, live documentation supporting the design team's needs during documentation processes and communicate updates to documentation across team and disciplines. You will also train staff to increase quality of documentation and respond to evolving priorities within a creative environment.
As well as working within your own area of the project, you will work closely with every part of the project: production, brand, services, and releases.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience
Essential
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with technical documentation
- Experience establishing documentation standards, style and fact checking
- Experience with Microsoft tools (Teams, Office365, etc.)
Desirable
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira)
- Experience working with a game development team.
