Technical UI/UX Designer

Want to work in a growing new studio with industry experts on an exciting new project? As a Technical UI/UX Designer at C77 Entertainment, you are central to ensuring we have exceptional UI/UX throughout our game that helps create an immersive and fun play experience.
You are comfortable owning a new UI project and implementation as well as taking over existing projects that have already begun. You are experienced in moving between design and implementation on a project and are comfortable working alone as well as alongside other designers.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Exceptional UX, graphic design, motion graphics/animation knowledge, and implementation abilities.
- Strong experience working within Unreal Engine and implementing UI artwork into that pipeline.
- Ability to create and contribute to a style for a game’s UI and interactivity that is very appealing, intuitive, and clear.
- A collaborative and proactive work ethic. You can produce high-quality artwork with little supervision, but know how to take direction and interpret feedback to reach the best possible end result.
- A passion for making and playing games.
Responsibilities
- Develop UI/UX to guide players through menus, game flow, and options easily.
- Provide constant improvement of our UI/UX systems and shared functions.
- Create and implement designs and ensure they are optimized for the Unreal Engine.
- Consistently produce quality visuals and work with Art, Design, Audio, and Engineering to create optimal UI/UX.
- Consistently perform at a high level with minimal direction.
- Work collaboratively with other designers and developers to ensure a quality product.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 2+ years experience as a UI/UX Designer in game development.
- Expertise with Unreal Engine (or equivalent game engine) and the implementation of performant UI
- Portfolio showing your work.
