The Role
Provide systems support for desktops, servers, and proprietary VR technologies. The right candidate must be creative in identifying solutions and disciplined with maintaining high-quality standards and documentation. The ability to communicate with a variety of technical and non-technical teams and adapt to ever-changing technology needs and conditions is a must.
This is a service desk position with potential for advancement and travel.
Status: Part-Time, Hourly, 5pm-1am shift (includes one shift on either Saturday or Sunday)
Reports to: Manager, Technical Operations Center
Duties:
- Provide phone and ticket support for VR locations around the globe
- Research solutions and escalate issues as necessary
- Monitor system activity to identify issues and provide resolution
- Create knowledgebase content and other documentation
- Assist in shipping, receiving, and inventory upkeep
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills Required:
- Able to clearly communicate through written and verbal means
- Must be well organized and able to track multiple issues concurrently
- 3 years’ experience maintaining Windows server and desktop operating systems
- Knowledge of basic networking structure
- Understanding of server, desktop, and networking hardware
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Employment Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must have or be able to obtain a US Passport
- Must be able to work evening and weekend shifts (5pm-1am, 3-4 days per week)
