Technical Program Manager, Information Security

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Security Engineering Team ensures that all EA Games are developed with the security of our players and their information as a priority. It partners closely with Platform and Game development teams to ensure that security issues are identified and resolved throughout the application and service lifecycle.
You will be a part of the Game and Platform Security Engineering team, reporting to the Senior Security Manager. You will be focused on delivering programs and providing engagement with partner teams across EA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Security TPM, you will be a part of a global team:
- Build a security engagement and partnership strategy with internal game and platform teams
- Build a gameplay integrity strategy with internal game and platform teams
- Drive projects, build partnerships with other organizations, and work with game and platform teams to ensure security goals are met
- Develop and integrate processes and tooling to support Security Development Lifecycle efforts
- Oversee partner and security engineering expectations and deliverables
- Resolve potential resourcing, technology, and process gaps related to security engineering efforts
- Conduct project post-mortem reviews and project closure
- Develop security Indicators through partnering with engineering teams in addition to defining and building operational capabilities
- Provide regular insight and status of security engineering efforts to Sr. Leadership
Security and Risk Analysis
- Assess potential security risks identified by external security researchers and work collaboratively with internal security, game, and platform teams to ensure fix
- Guide and improve organizational security, risk identification and remediation processes, and risk tracking mechanisms
- Ensure that security risks are addressed before product release
Relationship Management and Domain knowledge
- Build durable and accountable relationships with game development and platform teams
- Work collaboratively with Security Engineering resources to determine proper approach and priority to resolving potential security risks
- Understand partner team development and engineering capabilities to influence secure development and deployment considerations
- Build trust relationships with external security researchers who have reported potential security vulnerabilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant professional experience
- Solid security engineering and security program experience
- Hands-on experience defining and using SDL practices and methodologies
- Project management and implementation experience and collaborating with multiple partners globally
- Presentation, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
- Experience briefing executive leadership on security risks and identifying a developing path to resolution
- Experience managing large information security programs and a solid understanding of application security concepts
- Experience working with external security researchers under the practice of Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure
- Experience planning and delivering cost-effective results
- Project leadership, able to delegate, and determine priority of tasks.
- Will manage on and off-shore development, integration, and quality assurance teams
- Experience evaluating and managing risk
- Balance the pressures of a busy project environment with the need for a fun, productive group and environment
