Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager who has some experience in delivering Software as a Service (SaaS) projects to clients with technical backgrounds. As a Project Manager, you will play a vital role in coordinating and facilitating communication between the project team and users. Your responsibilities will include tracking progress, identifying and managing risks, ensuring compliance with requirements, and delivering project outcomes. Additionally, you will collaborate with other managers to allocate resources and contribute to shaping the product features and roadmap.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
The Technical Project Manager is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:
- Lead project planning by breaking down deliverables in milestones
- Manage and negotiate requirements/change requests from clients
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business units, product team, senior management, and external auditors
- Collaborate with leads to ensure the appropriate allocation of resources
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts on project deliverables
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and project-related artifacts
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Be familiar with similar and competing products in the marketplace
- Perform any other duties as required
Qualifications/Experience Required
- Prior experience as a software/ IT engineer
- At least 1-year experience as a technical project manager, or DevOps experience with AWS, 1+ years Kubernetes, Certification in AWS preferred
- Working experience with some of the following technologies and tools: Docker, Kubernetes, git, Redis, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, GitLab CI, Nexus, SonarQube, Terraform, Helm, Prometheus, ELK/EFK, Grafana, CloudWatch
- Strong knowledge of Scrum and Agile development methodologies
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Ability to communicate fluently in English, both oral and writing
- Deep knowledge of cloud service providers and best practices around implementation and configuration, preferably managing AWS and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with infrastructure management and operations lifecycle concepts and ecosystem and have understanding of IaC and GitOps
- Innovative thinking balanced with a strong customer and quality and cost efficiency focus
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, motivate team members, and foster a collaborative work environment
- Meticulous attention to detail in project planning, documentation, and quality control to ensure project success and compliance
Nice to have:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with Compliance and Security Frameworks such as ISO 27001
- Project management certifications (such as PMP, PSM, or PRINCE2) are desirable
- Experience working in the game industry
- Experience in delivering SaaS product
