What we need:
The Security team at 2K is looking for a highly technical manager focused on programmatically managing risk within 2K and its studios. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be working with the security teams to track vulnerabilities from identification to closure.
What you will do:
As a contract Technical Project Manager at 2K, you will be responsible for maturing the vulnerability program and building relationships with organizations, customers, and users.
The right candidate will possess a project management background and will have proven experience leading technical programs. You are able to thrive and succeed in a collaborative environment with a diverse set of globally-distributed partners and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
- Establishes credibility and maintains strong working relationships with groups involved with security matters (Legal, Developers, Networking, Systems, etc.)
- Establishes and regular reporting mechanisms for measuring compliance and improvements in the patching program.
- Responsible for continual process improvement and innovation in assessment process, policies and procedures.
- Responsible for all activities (tracking, scheduling, communications, and validation) associated with vulnerability findings from scans, pen-test, and external reports.
- Develop project plans including timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, success criteria, and relevant communication.
- Provide detailed and timely communication on developing issues to relevant executives and partners with clarity and urgency.
- Help prepare weekly project reports to update project stakeholders of status.
- Help maintain project documents, perform project research, and assist in data entry tasks.
- Provide updates and regular communication with the internal audit team around outstanding vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with different stakeholders within the business and with other organizations.
Who we believe will be a great fit:
- 2+ years of experience in program/project management and managing vulnerability assessments or security/IT projects
- Good Microsoft office / G-Suite proficiency required. Strong PowerPoint skills are a bonus
- Proven success in contributing within a team-oriented environment
- Desire to work in an information security environment
- Motivated self-starter who can handle multiple tasks independently with little oversight
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills are a must
- Basic understanding of information security risks, vulnerabilities, and defense strategies
- Experience with creating dashboards in JIRA/Service Now
