Your Mission
Program Management lives within the Improbable Engineering Operations function, sitting cross-functionally across our engineering, marketing and customer-facing teams in the Games Business Unit.

It’s our responsibility to empower teams to support the delivery of multiple projects and to help teams anticipate and mitigate risks, track and communicate timelines to the wider business and Executive leadership, while continuously evolving teams’ roadmaps to align with the company-wide strategy.
Areas for Impact
As a Technical Program Manager in the Games Tech Unit, you will be accountable for the and alignment of our tech integration projects with globally distributed partner studios, devising strategies and tactics aimed at expanding and maximising the success of our portfolio of projects built on our gaming platform.
Working across our Networking and Operations product lines, you are responsible for the direction and delivery of 20+ cross-functional integration teams build tech to provide better ways to make multiplayer games, managing strategic direction, executive reporting and budgeting across all.
As you engineer, battle-test and iterate on groundbreaking technologies, you will also work with product and marketing to package up our solutions into global market releases for prospective customers.

- Ability to manage resource planning for the program, in terms of budgeting and driving sustainable efficiencies
- Experience facilitating and leading continual planning processes in a technically and commercially complex and exciting environment
- Proven experience in achieving goals and hitting deadlines, based on company-wide objectives, regardless of the obstacles
- An ability to facilitate, catalyse and lead organisational change and transformation, drawing on change management, organisation culture, organisation development and systems thinking
- A deep understanding of Program Management Lean / Agile frameworks and principles, at the level of the principles and values, enabling appropriate application as well as innovation
- A strong ability to understand complex systems, relentlessly managing the technical and business risk landscape, anticipating and mitigating emerging issues
- A high level of emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, ability to listen with empathy and enable people to act by increasing insight
