TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER - SOFTWARE ENGINEERING

2K publishes some of the most popular video game franchises on the planet including NBA 2K, Borderlands, BioShock, Mafia, Sid Meier’s Civilization, and more. The Technology organization at 2K is a centralized team delivering Information Technology, Security, and Software Engineering solutions that enable our studios to develop these amazing games and maximize the enjoyment of fans around the world.
What We Need:
We develop and operate a centralized backend-as-a-service product encompassing core online game functionality like SSO, Telemetry, and Entitlements. While focusing on software project management in this domain, the Technical Program Manager will also need to apply their experience and skillset across a variety of roles including release management, quality assurance, technical writing, and even software engineering. They need the interpersonal and organizational skills to navigate our complex and fast-paced environment. Perhaps most importantly, they need to have an absolute passion for getting things done.
What You Will Do:
- Establish, maintain and drive delivery against multiple product development schedules including milestones and releases
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to identify, implement and lead the appropriate software development methodology (e.g. SCRUM grooming, planning, stand-ups, review, and retro)
- Partner with QA leadership to establish and drive successful quality assurance of our products, including test plan review and testing as necessary
- Proactively identify, track and drive resolution of blocking issues and non-engineering action items
- Establish, maintain and drive consumption of a high-level project status dashboards and reporting
- Identify and drive process improvement throughout the engineering organization
- Establish and lead regular partner syncs

You are interested in exploring opportunities to apply technology to address opportunities in the area of video game backend services, digital sales, marketing, and distribution. You consider excellence in communication to be one of, if not your strongest asset across all mediums.
- BA/BS or equivalent in STEM or software development related fields
- 6+ years of experience in a technical role delivering software - as - a - service (e.g. PM, QA, SDE, etc.)
- 4+ years of experience in software program / project / product management
- 2+ years of experience serving as a SCRUM master
- Demonstrated ability to interact, influence and align with all levels of an organization; both internal and external, technical and non-technical
- Demonstrated ability to influence and drive consensus
