As a Technical Program Manager for SDLC, you will build cross-team technical programs to improve our Software development life cycle, from coding, debugging, testing to deployment experiences. You will drive engineering efforts such as developing a set of productivity tooling that help Roblox engineers to develop, test, debug and deploy software. You will have the unique opportunity to be an early part of our team. This is a full-time position based at our headquarters in San Mateo.
You will:
- Improve coding experience and code quality for Roblox Engineers
- Build and rollout CI/CD workflow within Roblox
- Support new and existing programming languages used in Roblox
- Identify problems, build programs to improve engineering design, development practice for Roblox
- Define problem space, collect user requirements and guide engineering teams to plan and ship productivity tools for the company
- Balance efficiency, performance, and priorities based on impact to the community and company's long-term goals
- Align senior leadership and key stakeholders around program roadmap
- Manage cross-functional programs end to end, focusing on what is best for long-term success
- Unblock teams and enable them to stay true to top priorities
- Enable engineering teams to reliably manage all project phases
- Effectively use data driven approach to inform teams' direction
- Manage dependencies across teams and components
- Own measurement of success of programs
You have:
- 5+ years experience in software development life cycle
- Experience in developing Eng productivity tooling
- Experience with CI/CD in DevOps.
- Experience in building programs to improve coding experiences, including programming language support
- Experience with establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience with identifying critical technical problems and opportunities
- Experience with creating end to end technical programs through roadmapping and reliable execution
- Experience turning specific solutions into systems that benefit larger community in the long run

- A self starter with high degree of self direction and independent drive
- Flexible around process, using process as a tool when it makes sense for a team
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$266,580 — $317,500 USD
