About the Position

Twitch’s Client Applications group is responsible for developing our native applications on iOS, Android and TV platforms (Xbox, PS4, Fire TV, and more). These platforms represent an ever-growing share of the Twitch viewership, and providing fast, functional and delightful experiences on them is essential to user engagement.

We’re looking for a Release Technical Program Manager to manage app releases across multiple teams and app stores, while managing dependencies, risks, and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Execute release cycles and app submissions for projects on iOS, Android, and TV Apps (consoles, streaming boxes, and Smart TVs)
• Provide concise and clear communication (verbal and written) to stakeholders from Product, QA, and Client teams
• Escalate urgent issues, identify risks, and drive them to closure in a timely manner
• Act as an expert and point of contact for first party partners for submission issues
• Manage and monitor release cycles through JIRA and other release management software
• Create and apply new processes to optimize release cycles
• Ensure app releases exceed defined quality bar for crashes, bugs, and business metrics
• Interface with Customer Support team to identity and communicate customer issues
• Document, schedule, and communicate app releases and project status

Requirements

• 2+ years of release management experience
• In-depth knowledge of app development lifecycles
• Strong experience with Apple, Android, Sony, and/or Microsoft app store dashboards
• Proven experience using and customizing JIRA for release management, bug tracking, dashboards, and reports
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies, and their application to manage programs effectively
• A proven track record of releasing high quality consumer facing products on time
• Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills
• Demonstrates technical acumen

Bonus Points

• Experience with CI automation systems
• Working knowledge of data analysis using SQL, Mode Analytics, and/or Tableau
• 1+ years of project management experience
