Technical Program Manager (New Grad / Early in Career)

If you have a knack for organization and are fascinated by the inner workings of games and the technology that powers them, then you may be a great candidate for our Program Manager role! In this position, you will assist Technical Program Managers with a wide range of responsibilities, collaborating with our engineering teams to plan, build, and release components of our technology stack.
People skills, attention to detail, and technical acumen are all essential, and you will use them in concert to ensure that the talented individuals at Bungie are empowered to do their best work.
NOTE: Eligible applicants must be graduated from a college, university, or related program within 12 months, or planning to graduate this year, or moving from primarily learning to primarily working within 12 months or transitioning from one craft, function, or discipline to a new one
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consistently document and communicate key program and engineering decisions to stakeholders
- Schedule and coordinate required meetings and rituals in alignment with teams and individuals
- Track schedules, team health, and deliverable progress against development roadmaps
- Support, flag, and help mitigate risks, bottlenecks, and misalignments
- Troubleshoot systemic, process, and operational challenges
- Develop strong working partnerships with assigned and adjacent teams
- Support other Technical Program Managers and areas in their budgeting and compliance tasks
- Explore external technologies that potentially reduce cost (operational burden, maintenance, spend)
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Interest in understanding and working on technical problems in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Strong organization skills: attend to details, drive to closure
- Outstanding analytical skills: understand problems, simplify complexity, seek solutions
- Exemplary communication skills: actively listen, speak with empathy, write clearly and succinctly
- Familiarity with time- and deadline-driven project management (including task management and wiki applications)
- Experience with any productivity suite (Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; Google: Gmail, Sheets, Slides)
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Professional, educational, or hobbyist background in computer science or engineering
- Game experience desired but not essential
Most Bungie full-time employees will adopt a digital first approach allowing remote work in Bungie approved locations (outside of positions identified as 100% onsite in Bellevue/Seattle, or individuals preferring a hybrid/flex environment). Prospective full-time employees located outside of CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI will need to establish residency in one of the states we are compliant in within 45 days of a start date.
