Technical Product Manager, Fixed Term Contract

Riot Sydney is looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager to join the global Unreal Ecosystem team. This position is a 12 month fixed term contract and will be based in Sydney, within a hybrid work model.

Working closely with the LA Headquarters, Riot Sydney is a powerhouse of talent, and experts in global development. Our team works on VALORANT, League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics, alongside exciting R&D and Tech projects.

Technical Product Managers combine deep technical knowledge and experience with product leadership capabilities to enable Riot Games to deliver key products and supporting systems to players.

You will develop and execute development strategies on Riot's products and technologies while leading diverse teams to deliver creative solutions to our most difficult technical challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive a strategy and roadmap taking into account product & technical needs from multiple teams
• Establish, develop, and maintain a large number of stakeholders and partner relationships
• Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to drive best practices in services and infrastructure
• Report on product performance, ensuring product achieves milestones against objectives
• Manage product-level risks and issues

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of product management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in stakeholder management, and conversation facilitation
• Experience in technical discussions with stakeholders to understand requirements and risks
• Excellent knowledge of Agile work systems (Kanban, Scrum etc.)

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in game engine or real-time simulations work
• Experience with systems/services that operate at global scale
• Experience with operating games as a service
• Experience with Rendering, Client Networking, or Performance optimization
