Senior Technical Product Manager - Central Player Dynamics

As a Senior Technical Product Manager in the Central Player Dynamics group, you will work with our designers and product team to scope & achieve the vision for new Player Dynamics capabilities. You will then work with our engineers, quality team, and partners as they architect, build, and deploy our services, managing partner communications and dependencies along the way. Lastly, you will be the primary contact with our partner teams as they integrate our technology into their games.

Central Player Dynamics (CPD) provides services and solutions that foster positive and inclusive player-to-player experiences for all of Riot's games. As Riot expands into new multiplayer game genres, CPD is investing in technology and systems to ensure our games are always positive environments. CPD comprises three teams: two engineering teams and a design/policy team - all focused on providing outstanding player experiences across Riot's game portfolio.

You will report to the production lead for Riot Central Player Dynamics (CPD).

Responsibilities:

• Lead product delivery of new Player Dynamics services by collecting input from technical and industry experts to form a build/partner strategy.
• Work with Design, Product, and Engineering groups to determine product and technical delivery requirements, establishing and documenting the essential architecture and interfaces needed for delivery.
• Communicate the value proposition of the product to all partners, building momentum and support anchored in delivering player value.
• Facilitate integration of CPD products for game teams and Riot Player Support.
• Manage essential customer and partner relationships within, and outside of, Riot Games.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of technical program or product management and delivery experience
• Experience evaluating and selecting partners to aid in the development of your product vision.
• Experience delivering technical products in services, operations, or infrastructure.
• Strategic vision experience including defining a comprehensive strategy and product road map, and gaining support from partners at all levels.
• Experience working directly with engineering teams to ensure the products they build meet the needs of the partners and customers that use them.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with systems and services that operate at a global scale.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience .
• Understand cloud infrastructure technology and how it is used by customers and the partner ecosystem
• Experience with scalable machine learning systems, including evaluation of user-generated content while prioritizing and protecting player privacy
