We’re looking for a self-motivated, high-energy Technology Producer with a real passion for data to join our Data Pipeline team in Renton. In this role, you will work with a diverse set of product and engineering teams to design and build innovative data systems that exceed industry standards and provide our analysts, data scientists, marketers, and business teams with clear, accurate, and actionable insights. You will combine your passion for data (insights, visualizations, and usefulness) with production experience to lead similarly passionate people at all levels in designing and building the data ecosystem delivering insights for all our gaming system.
What you’ll do:
- Identify, evaluate, and communicate changes to processes, application, or infrastructure that may have an impact on a project's deliverables or timeline.
- Encourage a culture which identifies and removes impediments.
- Participate in team discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Interface across organization levels with local and international business customers, technical resources, and external partners.
- Analyze existing processes and lead continuous process improvement discussions that promote operational efficiency through standardization, simplification, and/or discontinuance.
- Supports the progression of technology solutions from conception through release and into live ops.
- Provide clarity on issues, risks, and work streams to all shareholders.
- Managed Data Engineering Services relationship with End Users, Stakeholders, Executive Leadership, Business and Technology partners.
- Oversees daily production efforts focused on development tools, pipelines, and production activities that deliver on design, business, and operational goals for the product.
- Assesses project risks and develops mitigation plans for them as they arise.
- Implement processes, procedures, and documentation standards to ensure compliance with internal Technology and Corporate IT regulations.
What you'll bring:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity and experience of SDLC processes and standard methodologies.
- Experience in Agile project management and iterative development.
- Experience working cross functional teams including Engineer, QA and BI.
- Experience of managing a dev team, either in launching new features or redesigning existing systems, as well as experience working with data and analytics systems in the digital space.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence and Jira.
- Familiarity with SQl or Similar Languages preferred.
- An outstanding balance between a flexible/forward-thinking mentality and a strong orientation towards process.
- A Curiosity with an extreme attention to detail that drives self-audit of your work, need to understand sophisticated systems, and simplify topics.
- The ability to encourage technology teams to consistently deliver high quality work.
- BA or BS preferred or equivalent years of work experience.
- Certified Scrum Master, Product Owner, or equivalent years of experience in an agile work environment.
