JOB – Technical Producer

Bit Reactor is in search of a Technical Producer to help us plot our course through hyperspace. As the Technical Producer you will collaborate with team and project leads to help deliver a best-in-class player experience that will revolutionize games through the lens of the Star Wars universe.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the team to establish milestone schedule and goals
• Create planning documents for internal and external discussions
• Manage and track tasks for the project to ensure accurate milestone deliveries
• Drive production decisions through collaboration with other team members
• Proactively communicate milestone issues and develop creative solutions as needed
• Lead meetings, such as planning/brainstorm sessions, build reviews, playtests, and retrospectives
• Interface directly with the production teams, both at the publisher and IP holder
• Collect and provide constructive critiques to the team
• Be a source of truth and feedback for the project quality and the player experience
• Identify and provide solutions to production and studio issues
• Contribute and foster a positive, collaborative, and creative studio culture

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as a Producer or Project Manager
• At least one shipped AAA game on console or PC
• Working knowledge of Unreal engine
• Understanding of production pipelines and engineering workflow
• Capable of working with the team to align priorities and achieve predictable schedules
• Expertise in common production practices and methodologies
• Solid organization, communication, and strategic skills with an eye for details
• Able to jump into the unknown and solve new problems; the ability to think creatively to resolve challenges and limitations
• Understanding of task tracking software
• Understanding of best practices of hybrid working
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bonus:
• Understanding of how to work with external IP partners
• Experience in a startup environment

Bit Reactor prefers to hire candidates who are willing to relocate to Hunt Valley, Maryland, but is open to remote options.
