We are looking for a Technical Producer to manage new technical projects from the discovery phase to release. Reporting to the Executive Producer, this role will support multiple projects at a time and will ensure all feedback is appropriately followed up and plans are updated as conditions change.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Collaborate with engineers and other developers on cross-discipline teams to create project schedules, budget resources, drive milestones, and scope the project
- Understand engineering process and pipelines and communicate them outward
- Facilitate discussions between engineering and internal clients
- Create and refine the development processes to increase production efficiency and quality
- Monitor change requests and determine when significant changes to project scope have occurred
- Identify, develop, and implement strategies to mitigate risks
- Communicate development status to teams and stakeholders
- Assist teams with dependency management and removing blocking issues
- Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with internal and external creative resources.
- Mentor less experienced members of the team.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 3+ years’ experience managing the development of products from discovery to release to users
- 2+ years’ experience with game production in AAA game development a plus
- Experience using Agile methodologies and working in Jira or other bug tracking systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various departments including art, design, engineering, and management
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Knowledge of Engineering pipelines and workflows
- Experience working with large, cross-discipline teams
- Timely product delivery in fast paced environment
- Experience shipping software on multiple platforms a plus
