Technical Producer

Gearbox Publishing is looking for a full-time Technical Producer. This Producer will have a background in programming and will work closely with the technology and production teams.
This position is open to remote work in certain states.
Responsibilities:
- Communicates with and provide production support to the Publishing Technology team
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Coordinates technical goals and requirements with other departments
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day tasking and change requests
- Prepares team work schedules and evaluates task loading
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
- Able to work with creative people in high pressure situations
Qualifications:
- College degree and 2+ years of experience in production and programming
- A strong technical background
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with task creation and tracking
- Ability to prioritize effectively
- One or more shipped titles to your credit
- Understanding of the software development life cycle
- Ability to plan and manage workload, under deadlines, and within a budget.
- Software development experience in games
