Technical Operations Analyst

Department overview:
As a part of Sony Computer Entertainment, the Future Technology Group (FTG) is leading the cloud gaming revolution, putting console-quality video games on any device, from TVs to consoles to mobile devices and beyond.
The Technical Operations Support Team is a critical component of our support structure that enables FTG to successfully operate a global footprint at scale. We are focused on the day-to-day needs of our infrastructure and the services that support our world class streaming products.
We are currently looking for a TechOps Support Analyst in Berlin, Germany.
What you’ll be doing:
- Complete Jira support tickets and Slack requests by leveraging standard operating procedures (SOP) and adhering to proper escalation processes when necessary
- Collaborate with other TOS team members around the globe to achieve department objectives
- Be a proactive contributor in updating and validating SOP documentation
- Actively participate in other assigned projects
What we are looking for:
- 0-1 years of experience in Information Technology or foundational computer knowledge
- Work flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs
- Exceptional communicator, with superb attention to detail, and a strong commitment to continuous learning
- An “Extreme Ownership” approach
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarization of Linux OS and basic foundational commands
- Experience with PC hardware/software troubleshooting
- Jira Service Management and Confluence experience
- Have completed technical coursework, certifications, or any IT related studies
