Technical Director, Software Engineering

We are looking for a technical director like you with a drive for best-in-class game system development and a passion for technical excellence. You will have passion for technical leadership and are looking for an opportunity to be a leader in the development of an exciting new game project. You will be challenged to learn EA’s Frostbite game engine and core game systems, and then direct new technology and extensions to these systems.

Skills desired:

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Extensive knowledge of C/C++
• Shipped game titles, preferably with console experience
• Knowledge of different game systems, such as physics, streaming, rendering, file systems and memory organization
• Experience managing a large code base with multiple simultaneous development branches
• Expertise in concurrency, memory and performance optimization
• Self-driven with a strong sense of quality
• Great collaborative skills that support an open working environment
