The Engineering Services team is responsible to drive tools, innovation and development to ensure we deliver the leading entertainment products and eco systems that are expected from EA, while improving the quality of life for every content creator and tester within our teams world-wide.

As engineering leaders, candidates need to be self-driven, independent, able to conduct ROI analysis and to prioritize tasks based on them, achieve consensus with the various parties and work directly with stakeholders to drive change and influence our development processes.

Excellent communication, documentation and problem-solving skills are required, knowledge and interest in software quality assurance and process improvement desirable.

What Does a Technical Director do at EA?

Strategy & Planning

  1. Lead the development of tools, automation, services and release strategy.
  2. Validate requirements with stakeholders and design solutions in combination with members of the team.
  3. Drive innovation and manage opportunities.
  4. Drive collaboration and cooperation with partners.
  5. Be accountable for the technical proficiency of the team.
  6. Assist partners to understand their technology + data requirements and plan for service and strategies, while functioning as a subject matter expert in web technologies with customer teams.
