The impact you’ll make:
The Supernatural design team is seeking a motivated, experienced, and creative Technical Artist to join our group. This role will be a critical contributor to building one of the world’s leading fitness and wellness companies. We’re looking for candidates that are excited about collaborating with creative thinkers and do-ers, and experimenting with new ideas.
What you’ll do:
- As a Technical Artist in the group, you will be responsible for creatively evolving and optimizing the visual fidelity of all our in-experience design elements
- Work closely with graphic engineers to create cutting-edge and performance optimized shaders and visual effects
- Collaborate with artists and designers on bringing concepts and prototypes to life
- Optimize content processes and workflows with improved tooling
- Manage a real-time graphics pipeline
- Advise 3D artists and designers on best practices in asset creation, modeling, and texturing.
- Write C# scripts and CG shaders to prototype and create visual design components
- Build optimized and mobile-friendly 3D assets and textures
- Communicate and establish implementation processes between engineering and design
What you’ll need to be successful:
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Artist in in VR, gaming, and/or mobile applications
- 3+ years of experience one or more of the following languages: Python, CG , C#, Objective-C, C/C++
- Experience in tooling and automation workflows for major 3D software packages (ideally Blender, Maya, Houdini, Cinema 4d )
- Experience with custom shaders and real-time visual effects for mobile processors
- Experience with 3D pipeline tools
Bonus Points For:
- Experience working with teams developing in Unity
- Passion or experience with health & fitness
- Experience with Compute Shaders
