Technical Artist

As a Technical Artist you'll be participating in implementation of a wide range of graphical features and taking care of maintaining stable performance through the game.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prototyping and optimizing features and content
- Preparing tools and pipelines for artists
- Maintaining the production pipeline and meeting deadlines
- Collaborate effectively with other artists, programmers, designers, Art Director, and Producer
- Documenting tech limitations and tools
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least one year’s experience in game development in role of artist
- Great technical skills
- Basic knowledge of 2D, 3D and animation packages and pipelines
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine or familiarity with similar engine (Unity, CryEngine, Lumberyard, etc)
- Familiarity with UE4 materials logic and pipeline and best practices
- Familiarity with UE4 VFX logic and pipeline and best practices
- Familiarity with physics logic or physical engines
- Ability to fast prototype TA features, solutions and pipelines
- Ability to integrate graphical features into gameplay mechanics
- Familiarity with optimization techniques
- Great communication skills, so you can teach and mentor artists
PLUSES:
- Familiarity with UE4 blueprints
- Familiarity with Houdini
- Coding in C++, HLSL, Python language
- Very good knowledge of physically based rendering (PBR)
