Technical Artist

The Technical Artist is responsible for working with artists to identify and solve technical problems with existing tools, support in content creation when needed (such as destructible creation, rigging, materials or map optimization) and a solid understanding of scripting knowledge (Python, Javascript, MAX Script, MEL)
Job Function
- Strong Python scripting experience on a shipped game title or in a related field
- Character rigging experience in Maya, hero characters preferred
- 2+ years of experience on commercial game projects or in a related field
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt to rapid development cycles
- Up to date knowledge of current art techniques and development processes
- Proven ability to work well within a team atmosphere
- Passion for videogames and extensive knowledge of different game genres across all platforms
- Previous experience with a AAA game engine (Unity, Unreal, COD Engine)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
