Summary
We are a growing core team of experienced leaders within our studio. We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Artist who can successfully support our flagship live product’s global releases. This role’s primarily responsibilities are content integration, Unity content assemblage, communication, and coordination related to our features across several pod-structured teams. This individual must be flexible, an eager problem solver, and someone who is looking to take on new challenges in this unique opportunity.Pay Range
$72,303-$134,277What you'll do
- Integrate content optimized for mobile platforms
- Anticipate potential technical limitations & develop innovative solutions
- Assemble Unity prefabs, animations, & animator state machines
- Collaborate with and assist engineers and technical artists on tools generation and workflow improvements
- Provide technical workflow and optimization best practices support for our inhouse artists & partners
- Create source file templates & workflow documentation
What we're looking for
Demonstrated expertise with Unity 2D Pipeline
● Highly knowledgeable with prefab workflows and best practices
● Strong understanding of 2D pipelines for mobile applications
● Content integration & file/folder restructuring
● Technically focused for investigations & executions
● Intermediate knowledge of one or more common scripting languages
● Highly proficient with one or more common 2D applications
● Creating materials, animation, & particle effects optimized for mobile devices
● Passionate about games, art, & animation
● Website displaying examples of technical artist related projects
● Technical degree or certified training
Preferred Qualifications
● Intermediate knowledge of Photoshop
● Intermediate level of C# for tool generation & feature upkeep
● Strong understanding of 2D art/animation pipelines
● Experience integrating FX and audio
● Experience integrating UX/UI
● Experience with Spine for Animation
● Casual mobile games experience
● Passionate about crafting player experiences
Nice To Have
● Animation and/or VFX experience
● Experience with Blender and/or Maya
● Intermediate understanding of 3D art/animation pipelines
● Understanding materials and rendering for mobile games
● Experience mentoring lesser experienced Technical Artists with their skills and development.
