Technical Artist Lead

As a Technical Artist Lead you will be leading the Tech Art team, creating a NEW game, that will be our next big thing of Moon Active!

Technical Artists are collaborating with Unity developers and Art team, integrating all the graphic assets of the game in Unity, creating animations, VFX, and tools to improve our pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical artists in scrum teams;
• Responsible for team’s professional and personal growth & well-being;
• Building the team and product roadmap;
• Responsible for team deliveries;
• Take a major part in our strategic growth as an R&D team - technology and process-wise;
• Work alongside other tech leads in game teams;
• Perform a hands-on Technical Art work;
• Lead the process of integrating all the graphic assets of the game in Unity, creating animations, VFX, and tools to improve our pipeline.

Requirements

• Team leadership experience and working with cross-functional teams in gaming companies;
• Strong skills in Creative Suite Master Collection, mostly Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash;
• A profound understanding of key-frame animation;
• Production experience in Unity;
• Experience with Unity’s Shuriken particle system;
• Understanding of content creation/management pipelines for game production;
• Experience working with both artists and engineers and understanding the gap between both disciplines;
• Strong understanding of rendering pipeline (materials, draw-calls, batching, texture atlas);
• Ability to analyze tech design performance-wise;
• Ability to analyze and improve workflows to enhance group productivity
