Technical Artist - Internship 2023/24

Role: Technical Artist - Internship

Location: Liverpool

Duration: 12 months

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Artist to work with us for 12 months on exciting AAA projects. You will be working closely with our Lead Technical Artist and Technical Art Director to support our talented art team with various creative and technical solutions, in line with their project's requirements.

Requirements:

• Currently in your 2nd year of university
• Able to relocate to Liverpool
• Take pride in your work and strive to continually improve your skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Passionate about making game art
• Experience of using 3rd party engines such as Unreal Engine.
• A solid understanding of 3D and 2D art pipelines within games.
• Experience with visual scripting languages such as Unreal Blueprints.
• A basic understanding of shaders.

Desirable Experience:

• Knowledge of Houdini.
• Knowledge of VFX systems such as Unreal Niagara.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Mel.
