Our Moderation Team is dedicated to protecting Roblox users and developers from those who want to do harm online and IRL. We are looking for someone to analyze complex technical data to help us determine how bad actors might operate and manifest on our platform, and how we can stop them.
You will report to the Intelligence Manager on our world-class Trust & Safety team.
You Will:
- Develop collection and tracking techniques to identify new threat actors and tactics, monitor the activity of known actors, and methodically attribute new activity
- Understand network protocols, attack lifecycles and actor tradecraft with teams to engineer mitigation solutions
- Static and dynamic reverse engineer threat activity to identify and classify new samples, understand C2 protocols and functional capability
- Support engineers to develop new tools and scripts to update or improve our threat intelligence automation processes
- Conduct pattern and network analysis on bad actors
- Help discovery of harmful content by using internal data, open-source information and third-party private information
You Have:
- 2+ years of experience working in intelligence, cyber security, penetration testing or ethical hacking
- BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field
- CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, EC-CEH or CISSP
- Experience with Maltego, Data Walk, Palantir, Analyst Notebook, or similar network analysis tools
- An understanding of common analysis techniques and frameworks such as threat modeling techniques like the Diamond model, Kill Chain, and F3EAD
- Expertise in Python, Lua or SQL
- The ability to identify team needs, and come up with solutions
