Department overview:
Based in London, the Developer Technology Group provides technical support to the PlayStation developer community, covering areas including graphics, system features, network technologies (including PlayStation Network), and the submission process. The team works closely with various teams across the worldwide Sony family helping to define the direction taken now and in the future.
Your role will be working with the whole team (20+ people) and relevant groups to provide day to day administrative support, reporting to the head of the department.
What you’ll be doing:
- Administrative support – the team handles a range of questions from developers, you will be responsible for handling the entry-level technical admin-related questions.Organising travel for team members
- Ordering of equipment
- Creating reports and updates for the team as well as external partners
- Coordination with other SIE teams
- Event organisation for developer events where DTG team have a presence, or host-small events organised within the team, larger ones with external agencies
What we are looking for:
- A-level completion required; post-secondary education or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Computer literate – able to use the Microsoft Office suite
- Previous experience with a similar sized team
- Good time management skills to prioritise your tasks
- Good administrative skills, and able to work by yourself, and part of the team when needed
