Technical Account Manager

The Technical Account Manager is the focal point within Unity for coordinating customer relationship activities. In addition to directly supporting developers and their end-users as necessary, the Technical Account Manager will also oversee statistical data gathering and analysis in addition to other tasks and functions aimed at supporting all parts of the organization that interact with developers.
Integral to the role will be providing support as needed to stakeholders within the company such as Account Managers, Unity Operations and Unity Engineering when they are involved with deployed customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist game developers in design, integration, and support of Unity features on PCs, consoles, and mobile devices
- Gameplay testing for integrated games to verify functionality
- Acknowledge, triage and manage developer support requests in a timely, thorough and professional manner
- Ensure organizational readiness for customer (systems, support queues, contacts and documentation, graphs, reports, etc.) prior to betas and launches
- Produce summary customer status reports for internal and external consumption
- Produce detailed customer reports as requested or necessary
- Duplicate customer reported issues to aid in problem resolution
- Contact end users in games to resolve or investigate end user reported problems
Requirements
- Engineering, customer service and/or support experience (phone, email and IM)
- Ability to operate in multiple complex development environments and interact directly with customers
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills and technologies
- Willingness and ability to follow-through on requests and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to both take direction and be self-directed as necessary
- Proficiency in professional communication and handling of difficult situations
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as necessary (<25% travel)

- C++ or other programming languages
- Professional, fun and easy going demeanor, able to combine or shift between modes as necessary
