Technical Account Manager

Epic is building a team of engineers and artists dedicated to growing the Unreal Engine’s Enterprise capabilities to continue our expansion in verticals outside the traditional games industry. In this role you will be a part of the Custom Engineering/Solutions team, working hand in hand with our Enterprise customers to utilize the engine for projects in film/FX/broadcast TV, automotive, architectural visualization, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with Unreal Engine license efforts including but not limited to live Unreal Engine demonstrations, arranging evaluations, providing pre- and post-license technical support, evangelizing Unreal Engine at trade shows
• Continually growing own knowledge of the engine and tools to provide effective recommendations and guidance to the team and our customers
• Identifying bottlenecks and limitations in the pipeline and tools and document improvement recommendations
• Composing papers for conferences, publications and marketing and having the ability to present at events
• Drafting publications by working with the Marketing and PR team

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years in technical sales field or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience using 3D model authoring tools such as 3Ds Max, Maya, and CAD
• A keen analytical mind with strong problem solving skills
• Existing experience with Unreal Engine
• Self-starter – takes ownership of the technical relationship with developers and works proactively to set up systems to smooth the road from eval to license
• Detail oriented with strong communication skills; both verbal and written
• Demonstrated thought leader in field of expertise (online presence, involvement in significant projects, awards and prizes, etc…)
• Ability to identify and solve any problems clients may experience with Unreal Engine
• Willing to travel up to 30% of the time
• Able to communicate complex technical issues via email or face to face
• Shipped console, PC, or mobile, title experience is a plus

• 작업 파이프라인의 비효율적인 부분과 한계를 파악해서 툴과 문서의 개선점 제안
• 관련 컨퍼런스나 출판물 또는 마케팅 활동을 위해 필요한 문서를 작성하고, 이벤트에서 관련 자료 발표
• 마케팅 및 PR 팀과 협력해서 기사나 출판물에 대한 초안 작성

지원자격(아래 사항들을 많이 충족하실수록 좋습니다):

• 3Ds Max, Maya, CAD 등 3D 관련 툴 사용 경험 최소 5년 이상
• 언리얼 엔진 사용 경험을 바탕으로 고객이 겪을 수 있는 문제 파악 및 해결 능력
• 복잡한 기술적인 이슈를 직접 또는 이메일을 통해 커뮤니케이션할 수 있는 능력
• 개발자들과 기술적 유대 관계를 유지하며 평가판을 라이선시로 이끌어낼 수 있는 적극적 업무 자세
• 전문분야에서 입증된 경력 (온라인 인지도, 유명한 주요 프로젝트 참여 경험, 수상경력 등)
• 업무의 30% 이상 출장 가능
• 콘솔, PC, 모바일 플랫폼 제품 출시 경험
• 기술 세일즈 또는 유사 분야 경력 최소 5 년 이상 (우대)
