Tech Lead - Tools

As the Tools Tech Lead, you will be responsible for the technical delivery and stability of the tools produced by the tools team within GSG Tech. As a part of the Project Leadership team you are also responsible for producing a technical vision for the tools and plan for the team. In this role, you will ensure that the programmers on the team are delivering to a high-standard and on time. Outside of these duties, you will also spend some time working as a developer on the project - writing code and performing code reviews.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in C/C++
• Either experience of being senior/lead tools developer or tech leading experience in any development team
• Passion for developing user-friendly tools and applications
• Good interpersonal skills for working closely with users to identify and prioritize their needs
• Comfortable with English, both written and spoken

What we’d like to see

• Experience with game development
• Experience developing user interfaces
• Experience with Python
• Experience using source control systems, such as SVN and Git
