Team Leader

Description

We are looking for a Team Lead to join the Kyiv office on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

• Work on improving motivation and performance of subordinates
• Enable personal growth of subordinates
• Make sure that the group follows the best software development practices
• Act as a primary escalation point for the team, PO, and stakeholders
• Lead technical communication with Third Parties
• Treat the overall quality as the main goal
• Support feature planning, track and resolve dependencies and risks
• Remove obstacles to achieve the commitments within the area of his responsibility (external dependencies like external teams - but not a business-related question)
• Organize Agile routines (dailies, retros, review and etc.), initiates meetings
• Help team with sprint backlog prioritization
• Notify Manager and PO about possible risks and delays

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to effectively organize the process in stressful situations
• Agile mindset, business goals orientation
• Technical background in at least 1 of the tech areas: Java backend, Java Android, Swift or Objective C, Xamarin, JavaScript
• Experience leading development teams
• Upper-Intermediate English level
• Experience with SQL
• Experience working with CI/CD pipeline

Desirable:

• Experience in the marketing area
• Experience in Video Ads area
• Experience in the mobile development area
