Talent Management Programs Manager

Niantic's People Team seeks diverse, exceptional talent in a competitive industry, and ensures that our unique culture keeps employees engaged. We are searching for a Talent Development Manager to join our team! This is a new role that will focus on enhancing our employee experience through our talent programs including on-boarding, our annual performance management process, our employee listening strategy in addition to other programs in support of organization and team effectiveness globally. This role will ensure that our end to end performance process is consistent and scalable and creates a culture of performance and feedback. We are looking for a teammate who is customer driven, agile, innovative and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the VP, Talent Management to craft, and implement talent programs, including on-boarding, Niantic’s performance management process, feedback tools, talent planning, organization effectiveness and engagement surveys.
- Collaborate with People Partners, learning and development, and internal business leaders, to communicate and deliver on talent and organization effectiveness efforts that align to our strategy and objectives.
- Develop and lead cross-functional project plans to optimally launch and deliver cyclical talent programs.
- Conduct needs assessments, focus groups and employee interviews, along with analyzing organizational data and trends, to identify areas of focus.
- Create and maintain resources (job-aids, toolkits and real time and on demand learning resources) for employees and managers to make the most of our talent processes.
- Leverage data and analytics to support and assess talent program processes and effectiveness.
- Bring experience in Talent management methodologies and techniques with an eye for the latest leading practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.
- Required in-office 2 days on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Organization Development or equivalent experience.
- 5+ (or equivalent) years of experience defining, developing, delivering, driving/deploying and documenting talent programs.
- Organization Development, and Organizational Design experience.
- Proficient in performance and employee engagement tools.
- Program development/management experience.
- Understand the legal environment and help guarantee adherence with all applicable employment laws.
- Persuasive and clear verbal and written communicator, leading change through training and influence across all levels and functions of colleagues.
- Demonstrable experience in navigating diverse priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Flexible and creative, at ease with ambiguity, organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams with ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including synchronous interactions with others.
Plus If…
- You have a bachelor's or master’s degree in a related field (I/O Psychology/Organizational Behavior).
- You have worked as an HR Business Partner or in other HR functions.
- You have experience working with global teams.
- You have shown success in both a startup environment (preferably in tech) as well as in larger established companies.
The total compensation package for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $144,000 - $168,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
Individual pay within this salary range is determined by work location and additional factors, including assessed job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
