Gasket Games is growing and today we are looking for our first Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Culture team. You will partner with hiring managers and others across the studio to bring in the best and brightest talent to our studio. You pride yourself on your ability to provide an excellent candidate experience and you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. While you work well independently, you are also team oriented and like to have fun.
Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you will play a key role in ensuring that we bring in a talented and diverse team while providing an exceptional candidate experience.
What will you do?
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for multiple roles across all disciplines.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand the roles we are hiring for, create compelling and accurate job descriptions, conduct thorough screening interviews, plan and facilitate job interviews, create offers and communicate with candidates throughout the entire process.
- Build external relationships with candidates both for open roles and proactively for future roles.
- Continuously evaluate and improve our recruitment processes and share recommendations with the Director of P&C.
- Partner with post-secondary institutes to build a pipeline of new and future talent.
- Attend virtual and in-person events such as career fairs, summits, meetups, etc.
- Assist with our co-op program and drive the recruitment of new co-ops.
Who are you?
- Ideally, you have experience as a recruiter in the games industry. You bring with you a well established network.
- You care deeply about the candidate experience, start to finish.
- You are a natural people connector. You enjoy meeting people, getting to know them and you also know how to keep your connections thriving.
- You have a good understanding of the roles that exist in the games industry.
- You are energized by a busy environment and you are an excellent multi-tasker.
- You are organized and an excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
- You have experience using LinkedIn, an ATS, and a variety of job boards.
- You are naturally curious about people and you enjoy building long-term relationships.
Finally, a little about Gasket Games Corp. We are a studio of 35 game developers who usually work out of our studio located in Vancouver.
