A visionary game development studio founded in 2012, Firesprite builds innovative showcase titles for PlayStation platforms as part of the PlayStation Studios family.

Our Operations Teams play a crucial role facilitating the development of our games and our people at Firesprite. These groups form a highly important backbone for the studio, from financial planning, staff wellbeing and internal communications to the provision of the necessary technology and technical support to create incredible experiences whether working from home or at the office.
As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring high quality candidates for roles across all disciplines. Working with the existing Talent Acquisition team and reporting to our People Director, you will
directly contribute to the studio’s growth and be instrumental in helping us achieve our ambitious plans for 2022 and beyond.
You’ll be someone with a can-do, positive, and proactive attitude towards their work and the people around them. You’ll be motivated to deliver a first-class service to both hiring managers and candidates, putting candidate experience at the heart of every interaction. After delivering record hires in 2021, we continue with our growth and are equally ambitious about continual improvements to the experience we provide both for candidates and stakeholders across Firesprite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively sourcing direct candidates
- Support and advise hiring managers in the recruitment and selection process, and guide them on best practices
- Take detailed briefs from hiring managers on new vacancies
- Managing the candidate journey from initial screening call through to offer, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the entire hiring process.
- Represent and promote Firesprite at industry events, using the opportunity to network and interact with potential candidates
- Collaborating with the wider People team and hiring managers to identify and implement any relevant process improvements, drive projects such as DEI, improving candidate experience and continuously improving our recruitment processes and pipeline
- Working with the team on creating recruiting and hiring reports and implementing any changes to recruitment strategy, especially for harder to fill roles
Requirements
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting within the Games Industry, including sourcing, interviewing and negotiating offers
- A good understanding of the challenges of games industry recruitment and the current market trends
- Experience in direct sourcing and using Recruitment Software (e.g.LinkedIn Recruiter)
- Experience with a range of ATS (Workable and Greenhouse especially beneficial)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build great relationships
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- A strong team player
Additional or Desirable skills:
- In-house experience in a Games Studio
- A broader understanding of HR policies and practices
